special Web page used to collect data over the Internet. In this case,
answers to the questions are saved in a file called ResultsOS1.csv. The
"csv" extension means comma-separated values. csv files are readily
compatible with programs such as Excel and Access. And, as you know only
too well, if it's in Excel, Lertap can probably read it.

Note inserted January, 2002: the
survey no longer works correctly -- it does not save responses to the Results
database file anymore. The reason for this is that we changed web servers.
We had been using an off-campus web server which was fully compatible with
Microsoft's FrontPage system, but now we've switched to a server at Curtin
University, and it does not yet support the required FrontPage features.
